Ben wearing Mommy's shirt
If you leave it up to James to dress the kid for bed (or anytime) he'll put something on that I may not have selected but this made me laugh, hard. It says "I climbed Mt. Humphrey's", which I did do, twice. It's the highest elevation in AZ. What a kid!
Making cookies
My little helper in the kitchen went a little nutty today because unlike soup or roasted veggies, cookie dough tastes great so it was a bit more of a struggle to get him to actually roll them up in to balls and bake them but we wanted to surprise Daddy with his favorite, Chocolate chip cookies and they taste incredible, my best batch yet!
New chalkboard
I got an idea from another blogger about chalkboard paint and all of its' uses so I made some garden stakes that are adorable and went to Goodwill to buy a big frame and used the back of the picture to make a giant chalkboard for Ben to hang on the wall in the hallway. So far it's entertaining, hopefully will also be educational!
Funny kid
I constantly hear things coming out of Ben's mouth that crack us up, he loves shrimp ceasar salad or as he calls it "Cee Cee salad", then he likes to say he is "inibisibew", or invisible. These are things that bring us so much laughter!

Okay
I was just showing Ben some pics on the blog of him when he was only about a month old and I said "Look Ben, it's you!" and his response was "Okay", like "Okay Mom, I know, you've showed me these pictures a thousand times". Wow, James and I belly laughed, we can't believe how many things he says and how funny he is, which is the reason I wanted to update my blog. I can't get over his little mind, thoughts. He told me yesterday after we planted a Sunflower that there are "chocolate trees". Wow! Never knew but I sure would like one!
